Well, it is that time of the year, kids are seeing their summer slip away, baseball teams are trading for either prospects or talent right now(depending on standings), and football players are going to court to defend themselves from federal indictments, and bloggers are anticipating new google page ranks.

First in Line
The only way to come out of this process in a better position from what you are in now is to get to do something about it, much like the scene in Empire of the Sun(starring Christian Bale, way before he began Batman) where they bring out the huge, I mean huge, potato pot to feed the all the prisoners.
