The only way to properly commemorate a new All-time home run record provide by Barry Bonds would be for the person who happens to catch the ball, pullout a permanent sharpie marker and proceed to place an asterisk on the ball. Then throw the ball back into the field so it is not lost in the crowd. This is asking one fan to throw away at least half a million dollars, but a true fan of the game would give this game back to the fan, if only for one moment. What a huge moment though? So here are the steps again:



1. Catch infamous home run ball -

4. Throw it back into the outfield
5. Be on every talk show on TV, have countless article’s written about you, do an exclusive on this blog. More than likely make more than what would you by selling the ball through donations sent by the real baseball fans around the world.
6. Just in case, buy bulk pack of Sharpies so everyone in your section has a chance to do the right thing.
