Ever since I purchased my Canon PowerShot S3IS camera last year I have been sold on Canon cameras. That is one reason I am pumped about Stay At Home Dad, Geek Style give-away of the Canon PowerShot SD750. Its smaller profile will allow me to have a digital camera with me more often, because the S3IS is just way to bulky(although the 12x Optical zoom is nice). Smug Mug has also thrown in a Professional Account for the winner, and 15 Power User Accounts for 15 Runners-Up.

Mike has only had Stay At Home Dad, Geek Style up for a little over a month and he is quickly closing in on the deadline for this contest, which is August 31st, 2007 11:59 PM. Mike is using his blog to document the life of his daughter in more than pictures. Matter of fact he is going to have his little girl chose the random winners by using rubber duckies. I suggest he fills a bathtub with the rubber duckies and sits her in it. The first 16 ducks she picks up are the winners.

One last thing for Mike, since I am a father of a 4 year old little girl and a 7 month old little boy, I can relate to what he is experiencing with Alex. Today I read a quote from another favorite blogger of mine freakedoutfathers.com and I think it is something all parents should read.

I do not believe I would chose to blend an iPhone if I won the contest the Rea Maor is putting on over at AskReaMaor.com. It would be awesome to snag a free iPhone with a post and a few links. Rea claims he is ‘just like a human 8-ball’. Well, I basically need an 8-ball to find a link to his RSS feed (you will find it at the end of each post – I think he have one right under his likeness at the top of his blog). Win Halo 3 or 50 Dollars

Abdalla Ahmed over at sweethacks.com has reserved a copy of Halo 3 for the lucky winner of their linkback, comment, or subscribe contest. Entering could not be easier, all you have to do is leave a comment on their Win Halo 3 Contest and you get 1 ticket. If you subscribe to their RSS you get 2 tickets( you get 3 tickets for subscribing via Bloglines - I will have to find out why Bloglines grabs you extra tickets). I am after one of those 24″ wide screen LCD monitors that John Chow seems to have in abundance and a signed copy of the best selling book, The 4-Hour Workweek! To grab an entry in to his latest contest you can either A) Buy a page on The Million Dollar Wiki for $100 and grab 5 entries, or B) publish a post dedicated solely to the contest and grab 2 entries.

How is this post worth 40 dollars?

Basic math shows us that 2/5 is .4 or 40% and .4 * $100 = $40

Since I am writing a post and grabbing an 2 entries I am basically saving myself $40. Although Mr. Chow would argue that I will miss out on traffic later on down the road without an infamous Million Dollar Wiki page. I would be happy to order a Million Dollar Wiki page, if Mr. Chow would like to order a $90 dollar review of the site of his choice from my blog.

Why am I only asking $90 dollars for the review? Because when I go to purchase my Million Dollar Wiki Page I will use the super saver coupon code JohnChow to save $10 dollars. I will only need $90 dollars to complete my purchase.

To close out my contest entering spree I am going to tell you about one of the coolest prizes I think a blogger can give. Cowtipping not Permitted

Ah yes! JohnCow.com is definitely up, running, and gaining moooomentum. To fuel this thundering herd their web hosting provider is sponsoring a cowpetition and is backing a prize worth $500.

Custom iPod Shuffle

You have to like a guy who puts together a niffy promotion video for his iPod shuffle give away. That is exactly what Brandon Hopkins did. Although he did steal a page from Ms. Danielle in suggesting you host a contest with the prize being the iPod Shuffle you win from him. He also throws in a plug for a sponsor of his site that offers free business cards. Go on over and enter the contest before August 1st of this year. As of this post he has about 30 entries, so chances of winning are still high.

I am kinda concern that he used my headphones Still, I have to give him props for the video. If I win I do not know if I will re-contest it, because it is ‘custom’, but I might follow Enkay’s at Enkay Blog lead and hold a contest to give something comparable.

David Culpepper is holding 2 separate cash giveaway contests this month. He is awarding $100 CASH to whoever posts the 1000th comment on his blog.
