American Idol Winner = Jordin Sparks

No one is going to argue the fact that Simon Threesome (Simon Fuller [creator], Simon Jones [developer], and Simon Cowell [dragon to be slain]) have created a money making machine with the Idol series. Last night America cast a record 74 million votes and the popular vote when to Jordin Sparks.
The final two contestants Blake Lewis and Sparks kicked off the night with a foreshadowing duet ‘I Saw Her Standing There’. Past Idol winners,Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood, and Ruben Studdard were present to perform songs individually and with the finalist.
You have to admire the machine the Simon Threesome have rolling. With Cowell playing the part of realist and creating underdogs [which America loves] millions of viewer tune in each week during the season to see if their favorite makes it to the next week. The machine works like any other ad campaign, but American Idol gets buy-in from the audience before there is even a product. Look around there is a strong fan base out there for Jordin Sparks at least 37.1 million votes were casts for her. How many record sales that translates into is yet to be seen, but I will guarantee you that she will be back next season to perform during the American Idol 7 finale when the next Idol is presented.
